Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. hot water (not hot)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water in large mixing bowl; stir in sugar, salt and 1/2 the flour.
    Beat until smooth. Add egg and shortening. Beat in remaining flour until smooth.
    Scrape sides of bowl and let rise in warm place until double in size (approximately 45 minutes).
