Cornpone - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow cornmeal (home ground is best)
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk (more or less)
Preparation

Mix the dry ingredients.
Add milk until you can work batter. Add eggs and beat until mixed well.
Add enough milk to make thin so they can be fried like pancakes on griddle.
Serve warm with butter.
