Luscious Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
1 1/2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 (10 oz.) can crushed pineapple (1 c.)
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sour cream

Preparation

Add boiling water to gelatin and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Add frozen strawberries immediately and mix gently. Chill until slightly congealed.
Add pineapple and nuts and mix. Put 1/2 of gelatin mixture into mold.
Chill slightly.
Fold sour cream into remaining gelatin mixture and pour over mixture in mold.
Chill until firm.
