Bacon Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c milk
    4 slices breakfast bacon
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together, add egg, milk and bacon (cut in small pieces).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes in oiled pan.
    Put strips of bacon on top before baking, if desired.
