Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening or butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, unbeaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift flour together with soda, baking powder and salt.
    Cream the butter or shortening thoroughly.
    Add sugar and continue beating by hand or mixer.
    Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, and vanilla and lemon extract.
    To the creamed mixture (by hand), add the flour alternately with the cup of buttermilk.
    Bake in a tube pan, 9-inch diameter tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
