Black Walnut Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. black walnuts
    1 c. raisins, chopped
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. blackberry jam or apple butter
    2 eggs, well beaten
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. allspice
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, butter and jam.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Stir dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Fold in nuts, raisins and coconut.
    Pour into 9-inch tube pan and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
