Carry-Along Sardine Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 3/4 oz. each) cans brisling sardines
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/3 c. India type sweet pickle relish
    1/2 c. minced celery
    12 slices buttered bread
Preparation
    Mash sardines, including the oil, with the mayonnaise.
    Stir in relish and celery.
    Make 6 sandwiches of the filling and bread using about 1/4 cup filling for each, cut each in half.
    Wrap individually and tightly and refrigerate until ready to pack into (vacuum bag) cooler.
    Makes 6 servings.
