3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9 oz.) pkg. solid chocolate mint wafers
walnut halves
Preparation

Sift flour, baking soda and salt together.
Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar well, adding sugars gradually.
Add unbeaten eggs and vanilla.
Beat well.
Blend in dry ingredients gradually and mix thoroughly.
Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
Insert 1 chocolate wafer in 1 tablespoon of chilled dough, making a ball.
