Norwegian Blotkake(Wet Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (fresh strawberries, raspberries or kiwi may be substituted for frozen berries)
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. butter
    2 c. cream, whipped
    apricot jam (optional)
    additional strawberries
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar until light or pale yellow in color. Combine flour and baking powder; stir in slowly (add gradually). Stir in almond extract.
    Pour batter into a 9-inch buttered and floured spring-form pan.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Set aside to cool.
