Mexican Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. long grain rice
    4 c. water or chicken broth
    1/2 tomato, diced
    1/2 small onion, diced
    1 can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Wash rice in a small bowl and drain.
    In a medium skillet, heat oil and add rice, stir until rice is a golden brown.
    Add diced tomatoes and onion; stir for about 1 minute or 2.
    Add tomato sauce and water or chicken broth. Season with garlic and salt to taste. Reduce heat and cover until rice is done.
