Savory Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brisket beef, neck bone or soup bone
    2 medium carrots, scraped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 ear corn, cut
    1/2 c. green beans, cut
    1 c. okra
    1 qt. canned tomatoes
    6 pieces elbow macaroni
    1 tsp. ground oregano
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. cumin
    2 small garlic cloves, crushed
    black pepper
    garlic salt
Preparation
    Remove all fat from meat.
    Boil until tender. Add water, if necessary. Remove from heat and strain broth.
    Refrigerate broth overnight.
    Skim off fat and heat.
    Add all vegetables which have been washed and chopped.
    Add spices and macaroni. Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Season to taste.
