Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. Mazola oil
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. whole kernel corn
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3 chopped jalapeno peppers
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 small onion, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except cheese.
    Pour half of batter into hot, greased pan.
    Cover with half of cheese.
    Add remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
