Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb beef rolled or rump roast
    1 pkg dry onion soup mix
    1 t fennel seed
    2 T Italian seasoning
    1 T oregano
    2 c beef broth
    crusty bread or buns
Preparation
    Bake roast seasoned with salt and pepper to taste in 350 F oven for 2 hours.
    Remove from oven and let cool; slice in very thin slices.
    Mix seasonings along with 2 cups of beef broth in crock pot and add sliced meat.
    Simmer on low for 2 hours or until ready to serve.
