Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 large green pepper
    1 large sweet red onion
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Slice
    carrots about 1/4-inch thick.
    Cook until tender (don't overcook), about 7 minutes.
    Drain.
    Cut up pepper and onion. Mix soups and sugar well, then add vinegar.
    Mix well. Then add oil,
    slowly, and mix this well.
    Pour over carrots, pepper and onion.
    Mix well and put in refrigerator for a day.
