Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew meat
    1 medium onion
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. flour
    5 carrots
    5 potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/8 tsp. sage
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Cut stew meat in bite-sized pieces.
    In clean sandwich bags, combine flour, salt, paprika and sage.
    Crush basil and thyme; add to flour.
    Shake well to mix.
    Put stew meat in flour mixture and shake until meat is covered.
