Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    2 carrots, grated
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Boil together the vinegar, sugar, celery seed and salt.
    Set aside to cool.
    Mix cabbage, carrots and onion in a bowl.
    When vinegar mixture cools, pour over cabbage mixture and mix well. Put into freezer container and freezer box for future use, or may be stored in refrigerator for 4 to 6 weeks.
    Will remain crunchy until used up.
