Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. melted shortening or oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 egg whites, beaten well
    4 c. raw chopped apples
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Grease and flour a large loaf pan.
    Combine the shortening or oil, sugar and egg whites, then add the chopped apples.
    Let stand for 15 minutes, then add dry ingredients.
    Add the nuts.
    Bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
