Ham Hocks And Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. black-eyed peas
    2 lb. ham hocks
    2 onions, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 small bay leaf
    1 clove garlic
    1 hot red pepper
    1 small tomato puree
    2 tsp. chili sauce
    boiling water
Preparation
    Wash peas.
    Cover with boiling water.
    Cook for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
    Let soak 1 hour.
    Boil the meat for 30 to 45 minutes in water and cover.
    Add peas; cover and simmer until tender, about 3 hours.
