Italian Bites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (16 oz.) Italian sausages
    1 large green pepper
    equal parts of: brown sugar (1 c.), chili sauce (1 c.), beer (1 c.)
Preparation
    Bake sausages on rack at 350\u00b0 until brown and done.
    Do not overbake.
    Cut sausages into bite size (5 to a link).
    Cook brown sugar, chili sauce and beer together to make sauce.
    Add sausages and simmer.
    Before serving, add green pepper.
    Vegetable should be crisp.
    Sauce may be frozen and kept weeks.
