Salsa Rancherita - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 fresh tomatoes
    1 c. chopped green chili
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until they are transparent.
    Add tomatoes, chili, garlic and spices.
    Simmer over medium heat 10 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil.
    Serve hot over egg or burrito dishes.
    Makes 2 cups.
