Lollipop Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter flavor Crisco
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. and 1 tsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    24 to 30 flat ice cream sticks
    red hots
    coconut
    nuts
    colored sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter flavor Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed until well blended.
    Beat egg into mixture. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix into creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate for several hours, or overnight.
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls and push sticks into center of dough.
    Place dough, with stick parallel, 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Flatten to 1/2 inch with large, smooth, greased and floured spatula.
    Decorate as desired with red hots, coconut, nuts or colored sugar, etc.
    Press decoration into dough. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cool on baking sheet.
