Cinnamon Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    3 c. flour (all-purpose)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place raisins in 1/2 cup boiling water. Cool and drain but reserve the water.
    Cream sugar, shortening and molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, alternating with reserved water and mixing well.
    Fold in nuts and raisins.
    Grease and flour loaf pan (or muffin tins) and bake 30 minutes until done.
