Fresh Pear Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. oil
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. thinly sliced pears or apples
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, eggs and oil.
    Beat well.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to sugar mixture, one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, pears and nuts. Spoon batter into well greased 10-inch Bundt pan or tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Powdered sugar glaze if desired. Remove cake from pan when cool and glaze.
