Mom'S Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    pinch of salt
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil together first 4 ingredients to 250\u00b0, then add next 2 ingredients.
    Cook.
    Stir all the time until reaches 302\u00b0.
    Remove from heat; add soda and vanilla.
    Stir thoroughly, then pour out on well-greased table or large pan.
    Stretch thin as desired.
