Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 qt. frozen strawberries
    whipped topping
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan and flour.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Beat Crisco and sugar for 1 minute on medium speed.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat for 2 minutes on medium speed.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add alternately with milk; mix well.
    Pour into pan; bake for 30 minutes.
    Let cool for 10 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
    Serve with strawberries and whipped topping.
