1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 T. light corn syrup
2 T. water
2 t. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
2 c.(1-12 oz. pkg.) Hershey's chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a large bowl, cream butter or margarine, shortening, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, corn syrup, water and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl; add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes until very lightly brown.
