Cracker Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4/ lb. saltine crackers, finely crushed
    1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Combine sugar and milk and bring to a boil.
    Add remaining ingredients and let stand for a few minutes.
    Beat and pour into a buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Cool in refrigerator.
