Chicken Ala King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces (save liquid)
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. hot water or hot chicken broth
    2 c. cubed chicken
    4 oz. jar pimento
Preparation
    Cook mushrooms and green pepper in
    margarine over medium heat; blend in salt and pepper.
    Cook over slow heat, stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly.
    Remove from heat; stir in bouillon, milk, water and mushroom liquid.
    Heat to boiling.
    Boil 1 minute, then stir in chicken and pimento; heat through.
    Serve over rice or toast.
