Mochi With Strawberry Centers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. mochiko
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 basket strawberries
    1 pkg. katakuri (potato starch)
    1 can tsubushian (red bean paste)
Preparation
    Combine mochiko,
    water
    and
    sugar in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on
    High\tfor
    4\tminutes.
    Turn pan and mix. Microwave for another
    4
    minutes.
    Mix until smooth (adding a couple of spoonfuls of water helps).\tSprinkle generous amount of katakuri on\twork surface (cookie sheet works well).
    Place mochi on katakuri,
    then
    sprinkle
    more
    on
    top, as mochi is flattened. Slice into 3 x 3-inch squares.
    Wash, hull and dry strawberries. With
    damp hands, wrap tsubushian around strawberries, then
    wrap mochi around tsubushian.
    Place in cupcake liners.\tEat within 48 hours.
