Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. thinly sliced cucumbers (do not peel)
    1 c. onion, thinly sliced or chopped
    4 tsp. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 cloves garlic, chopped (more or less to your own taste)
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix cucumbers, onion and salt.
    Add 2 trays of ice cubes and let set for 2 hours.
    Drain and set aside.
    Do not rinse.
