Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 3/4 c. plain flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add egg.
Add flour and dry ingredients.
Make hickory nut size balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet. With fork, make crisscross. Sprinkle sugar. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
