Mom'S Bonbons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
    2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 to 1/2 c. coconut
    dash of salt
    drops of food coloring
Preparation
    In medium bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
    Gradually beat in sugar, blend thoroughly.
    Beat in vanilla and salt, add food color to tint.
    Refrigerate covered 1 hour.
    Shape into balls using rounded teaspoon each.
    Roll in coconut.
    Place on wax paper and refrigerate until firm.
