Potato Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. (4 sticks) butter, softened
    1 c. granulated sugar
    3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. coarsely crushed ridged potato chips
    confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Slowly blend in flour and vanilla.
    Gently fold in potato chips.
    Drop by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Wet a fork to prevent sticking; flatten cookie gently.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes until just barely browned.
    Cool.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
