Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. raisins
    5 tsp. baking soda
    5 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. all-bran or Fiber One
    2 c. 40% bran flakes
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    4 eggs
    1 qt. sour milk
    1 c. oil
Preparation
    Add raisins and baking soda to boiling water.
    Cool.
    Mix in huge bowl:
    flour, salt, sugar, all-bran or Fiber One, bran flakes and chopped walnuts.
    In another bowl, beat eggs, sour milk and oil.
    Blend and add to cooled raisin mixture and add to dry ingredients.
    Mix. Fill greased muffin tins about 3/4 full. Sprinkle top of each one with brown sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 22 minutes.
    Makes about 55 muffins.
