Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. meal (plain)
1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. Crisco oil
1/2 large onion
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. sweet milk

Preparation

Mix all
together
and\tdrop in deep fat with teaspoon. Let come to top and brown.
