Barbecue Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) beef chuck or shoulder roast
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
    3 medium onions, thinly sliced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Brown roast on all sides in oil in large Dutch oven.
    Combine tomato sauce, water, onions, garlic, salt and pepper, mixing well. Pour over roast.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 2 hours.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour or until tender.
