Dilly Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 envelope dry yeast
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 egg (unbeaten)
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. dill seed
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. small curd cottage cheese
1 Tbsp. minced onion
2 1/2 c. sifted flour (add extra if needed)
Preparation

Soften yeast in luke warm water.
Combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and yeast mixture.
Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.
Let rise 50 to 60 minutes, then stir dough down.
Turn into a well-greased baking dish.
Let rise 30 to 40 minutes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
Brush with butter; sprinkle with salt.
