Possum Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    30 crushed Ritz crackers
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar plus 2 Tbsp.
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 pt. whipped cream
    2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 can Baker's coconut
Preparation
    Grease pie plate.
    To egg whites, add sugar, vanilla, Ritz crackers and nuts.
    Pour in pie plate and bake 25 minutes at 325\u00b0. Cool crust.
    Whip the cream; add powdered sugar.
    Cover baked pie and top with coconut.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
