Pasta With Cream, Basil, Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. spinach and plain fettucini, mixed or 1 pkg. plain fettucini
    1 small ctn. heavy cream
    1/2 c. Parmesan or Romano cheese
    1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and drained
    1/2 c. chopped green onion or to taste
    1/2 tsp. basil
Preparation
    Cook fettucini according to package; drain.
    Saute onions in 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
    Add cream and stir until cream thickens.
    Add cheese and basil.
    Stir until smooth.
    Crumble bacon and add to cheese and cream mixture.
    Combine with fettucini and serve immediately.
    Great with a salad and Pillsbury corn bread twists.
