Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 lb. sirloin or round, cut into strips
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine.
    Roll beef in flour, salt and pepper; brown with onions.
    Drain.
    Stir in mushrooms; cook 5 minutes.
    Add soup; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
    Stir in sour cream; heat thoroughly.
    Serve over wide egg noodles.
