Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 can (1 lb.) pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2/3 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour two loaf pans (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs, pumpkin and water.
Beat in dry ingredients.
Stir in nuts, raisins and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
Bake 65 to 75 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
