Apricot Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dried apricots
1 egg
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. water
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Soak apricots for 1/2 hour; drain.
Chop or grind.
Beat egg until light.
Add sugar; mix well.
Stir in butter.
Sift flour and other dry ingredients.
Add to egg mixture, alternating with juice and water.
Add nuts and apricots; mix well.
Bake in 1 loaf pan or 2 small pans at 350\u00b0.
