Squash With Apple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. butternut or acorn squash
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 tart apple
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Bake squash and peeled apple until done.
    Scoop out squash. In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
    Add squash, apple, thyme, brown sugar, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
    Mash to make chunky puree.
    Cover and heat through.
