Nutty Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. oats (uncooked)
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray 8-inch square baking pan with vegetable oil or cooking spray.
Put oats in blender and blend for 1 minute.
Combine margarine and cocoa in a separate bowl.
Add sugar, egg and vanilla.
Mix well.
Stir in oats, flour and remaining ingredients.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 15 minutes for chewy brownies or 17 minutes for cake-like brownies.
Cool and cut into squares.
