Fruit Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. plain flour
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    Crisco shortening for deep frying
    1 can 20 oz. pineapple chunks, drained*
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    *Or can use 3 medium firm ripe bananas, peeled and cut in 1/2 inch round slices or 4 to 5 medium apples, pared, cored and cut in 8 wedges.
