Gluhwein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick cinnamon
    4 cloves
    2 c. very strong tea
    2 to 3 lemon and orange slices
    5 c. red wine (dry, cheap)
    rum
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add red wine.
    Heat to nearly boiling and add 2 tablespoons of rum to each cup.
    Serve.
    (Great on a cold winter night; do not drive.)
