Beginner Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/3 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening (I use Crisco)
    2/3 c. milk
    1/3 c. margarine, melted
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream sugar and shortening. Cut creamed mixture into flour. Add milk until dough holds together. Turn dough onto floured surface. Roll out to 1/2 to 3/4-inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Dip biscuits in melted butter. Place in ungreased pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 or until golden.
