Coquilles Maison - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (can use fresh)
    1/2 c. white wine
    2 handfuls sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 lb. scallops
    breadcrumbs
Preparation
    Melt butter; add garlic.
    Pour into 1-quart casserole.
    Add tomatoes and mash lightly; stir in wine and mushrooms.
    If scallops are large, cut into bite-size pieces; add to casserole and mix.
    Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes, or until scallops break easily with a fork. Serve over a bed of rice or pasta.
    Yields 4 servings.
