Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. canned pumpkin
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Sift flour with soda, salt and spices; set aside.
    Cream butter with sugar until light.
    Add vanilla and pumpkin.
    Mix well.
    Slowly add dry ingredients, then stir in raisins and nuts.
    Drop by rounded teaspoons, 2-inches apart, on a greased baking sheet.
    Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
