Glazed Carrots(Microwave Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium carrots, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick
    water and salt to cook carrots in
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 tsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp. grated orange peel (optional)
    1/2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cook carrots in water and salt until tender.
    Meanwhile, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine, orange peel and cornstarch.
    Cook until clear, thickened and bubbly.
    Drain carrots.
    Pour glaze over carrots and toss to coat.
